I can't find the Loan tracker?
It's located in the Movie Details Panel in the main window. To open this click the small arrow in the bottom center of the main window. The Loan Tracker is just below the thumbnail.

Can I sort the list of movies in the main window in another way?
Yes. Just click on the header of the column you want to sort your list. Clicking again changes the sort order.

How can I renumber my movies to change the order they are displayed in?
You shouldn't. You can sort your list on any column visible in the main window by clicking it's header. clicking again changes the sort order.

I want to move EMDB to a new computer or want to reinstall Windows. How can I keep my database?
Create a backup of your database and all thumbnails to a safe place (other hard disk, network drive or memory stick). This can be done in the Database section of the Options dialog. After installing EMDB on another PC or reinstalled Windows restore the backup (using the Restore button in the database section of the options dialog).

I can not add or edit movies as the Add / Edit dialog does not fit on my screen.
You are probably using large fonts (125%). You can switch the Add / Edit dialog to use a tabbed view to fit on the screen. You can enable this feature in the General section of the Options dialog

I want to import movie data from another website than imdb.com. How can I do that?
EMDB always imports from imdb.com as that what it is based on. Localized Plot outline can be downloaded from MovieMeter.nl (Dutch), IMDb.fr (French), IMDb.es (Spanish), IMDb.de (German) and IMDb.pt (Portuguese).

Does EMDB work on Vista and Windows 7?
Yes. EMDB works perfectly on all versions of Windows Vista and 7.

Is there a version of EMDB for the MAC or iPhone/iPad?
No. I don't own a MAC. Give me one (preferably a MacBook) and I will create iEMDB ;-)...

Can I update to a newer version without losing all my movies and/or thumbnails?
Yes. Just install the new version. Don't change the default location provided by the installer. This should be same location the current version of EMDB (and your database and thumbnails). The database will be completely available in the new version.

I would like my own name to appear in the title of EMDB. Is that possible?
Yes. You can order your own customized version of EMDB here.
